Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 May 2026
This policy describes how Wyvern AI (referred to below as “we” or “us”) handles information collected through wyvernai.co.nz, our discovery-call booking, and our email channels. Wyvern AI is based in Wellington, New Zealand, and we operate under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
- Contact information you give us when you email us or book a call (name, email address, business name, the things you tell us about your business).
- "Scan my business" submissions — the text you enter into the form on our home page is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. We keep an anonymised copy of your submission (no name or email) so we can understand how the tool is used and improve it. Any IP address is stored only as a one-way hash, never in raw form. Our AI provider operates under terms that do not use your submission for model training.
- Booking data — when you book a discovery call, your booking is handled by Cal.com. We receive your name, email, and any notes you choose to include.
- Bot-protection signals — we use Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms to detect automated traffic. Cloudflare receives basic request metadata as part of this check.
- Standard server logs — our hosting provider records requests for operational and security reasons (IP address, user agent, timestamps).
What we use it for
- Replying to your enquiry and running discovery calls.
- Delivering and improving our services if you become a client.
- Keeping the website secure and running.
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not use it for advertising.
Third parties we rely on
We use a small number of third-party services to run the site and the business. They process data on our behalf:
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Supabase — content management and analytics for the website.
- Cal.com — discovery-call bookings.
- Google Workspace — email.
- Cloudflare — bot protection (Turnstile).
- AI providers (currently Anthropic) — used by the “Scan my business” feature on enterprise terms that exclude training on customer inputs.
Some of these providers store data outside New Zealand. By using the site or contacting us, you consent to that transfer.
Cookies
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The website does not require cookies to function. Cloudflare Turnstile and Cal.com may set cookies on their respective embedded widgets to perform their function — these are governed by their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@wyvernai.co.nz and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Retention
We keep enquiry and discovery-call records only as long as they're useful for the purpose they were collected for, or as required by law. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except where we're legally required to keep it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if how we handle data changes meaningfully. The "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent change.
